Ian is the Senior Partner and Founder of Campbell Valuation Partners Limited. Ian has broad practical experience gained from present and past ownership interest in private corporations from having held various public and private company directorships. He is a consultant, author and lecturer at numerous engagements across North America. Ian has given expert evidence in Business Valuation and related matters in excess of thirty times before many courts and tribunals, including amalgamations, appraisal and oppression remedies, expropriation matters, fiduciary responsibilities, going private transaction, income tax related valuations, information access, matrimonial disputes and options.

Ian is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada and a founding member and Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.

Ian is the principal author of the business valuation text, The Valuation and Pricing of Privately-Held Business Interests (1990), co-author of The Valuation of Business Interests (Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, 2001), co-editor of Canada Valuation Service (Thomson-Carswell, periodical), plus numerous other publications and texts on business valuation.
